Edward is a Partner at Quin River with over 30 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, capital markets, board governance and financial management.

He was formerly Group Chief Financial Officer of Iskandar Waterfront Holdings Sdn. Bhd. and has held executive directorships at several companies listed on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia. Earlier in his career, Edward co-founded Newfields Advisors Sdn. Bhd., a boutique corporate finance advisory firm, and began his professional career with Coopers & Lybrand in Kuala Lumpur.

Edward has extensive public company board experience, having served as Senior Independent Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of QSR Brands (M) Berhad from 2017 to 2022. He has also served as an independent non-executive director of several Malaysian listed companies, including Kulim (Malaysia) Berhad, Damansara Holdings Berhad, Iskandar Waterfront City Berhad and Ekovest Berhad.

Edward holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from Curtin University, Australia. He is a Chartered Accountant with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), a Certified Practising Accountant (CPA Australia) and a Licensed Company Secretary registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia.
